If you don't have thighs you can substitute it for boneless chicken parts: For the marinade: 5 cups of water 4 tea bags For the spice rub: 1 cup of flour 1 cup of brown sugar 2cups of soy sauce 2 tablespoon of smoked paprika 1 tablespoon of powdered garlic 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper 1 tablespoon of thyme 1 tablespoon of powdered onion 1 tablespoon of salt 8 skinless chicken thighs 1 handfull of cilantro (for garnishing) Recipie: Bring 3 cups of water to a boil and transfer to large bowl Throw in tea bags and allow to infuse for 5 minutes Add the remaining two cups and remove the bags Throw in the chicken thighs and cover with plastic transparent sheet (don't leave any space for air) Put the bowl in the fridge and leave for 18 hours Get the plastic bag and pour in all the powdered condiments Mix evenly by covering and shaking it Bring the chicken thighs and dry off excess tea Baste the thighs with soy sauce Check the next forum for the complete recipie |
