No..but it means to do good to be seen by them,rather than bearing bad name with riches.If you are rich then you dont give out to needy,that mean the person who does not have is better than the rich man.

Oh. Now I understand. A good name meant being known for doing good. At first, I thought it meant a name with a good background or meaning.
